Who runs this app

Inbox Assistant is operated by Michael Loven as a personal tool. Contact: michael.loven@gmail.com.

What Google user data the app accesses

When signed in with Google, the app requests this Gmail permission:

The app does not access any other data in the Google Account.

How the data is used

Gmail data is used only to carry out tasks the account owner asks an AI assistant to perform, such as summarizing, searching, sorting, or replying to email. It is not used for advertising and is not sold.

AI processing

To complete a requested task, relevant message content may be sent to an AI model provider (for example, Anthropic) for processing. This is done only to perform that task. Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Limited Use

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How the data is stored

OAuth tokens are stored on a private computer or server controlled by the operator and are not shared. Message content is processed as needed to complete a task and is not kept in a separate database.

How long it is kept

Tokens are kept until access is revoked. Any temporary copies or logs containing message content are deleted within 30 days.

Sharing

Google user data is not shared with anyone except the AI model provider described above, and only to complete a requested task. No analytics, advertising, or tracking services run on this site or in the app.

Revoking access and deleting data

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which invalidates the stored tokens. To request deletion of any remaining data, email michael.loven@gmail.com. It will be removed within 30 days.
